Buffets

Many of Las Vegas's best restaurants are located on, or near, the Resort Corridor (commonly called The Strip), and their names are listed below.

Please make note of a restaurant's
Location Number and then click on this MAP LINK to view the Strip/Near Strip Map and match any restaurant having a number to its location on the map.

However, if you're reading a restaurant's write-up and it doesn't show a
Location Number, that means it's located elsewhere in the area. I've provide street addresses for all restaurants so you easily can determine driving directions on your car's navigation system or with Google, MapQuest or Waze apps on your phone or tablet.

THE BEST BUFFETS IN LAS VEGAS

Calling Las Vegas the world's buffet capital would not be the slightest exaggeration.  Buffets are prominent dining features at various resort hotels.  Overall, quality ranges from the ordinary to the really extraordinary.  Ignore ones not listed here, and focus on these Best Buffets in Las Vegas.

If you ask 10 people to name their favorite Las Vegas buffet, you'll get 12 different answers. My picks are based on the best overall food selection, with quality, preparation, presentation and decor as benchmarks. Try your very best to ignore all other recommendations, no matter where you hear them.

Bacchanal Buffet – Caesar's Palace

3570 Las Vegas Blvd. S., Las Vegas

Since its September, 2012 opening, this newest entry on the buffet scene has been deluged with extremely lengthy lines of hungry customers waiting to fill its 600+ seats and partake of its seemingly endless offerings (officially listed as 500 items.)

There are nine themed kitchens and numerous stations offering many high-quality foods prepared in front of diners and served by friendly and super-obliging staff.  The selections are extensive and diverse, with quality and uniqueness throughout. The extremely long wait times most evenings, and particularly from Friday through Sunday, don't seem to be diminishing, though prices have been raised several times since the buffet opened.  As long as you don't mind frequent lengthy lines, the food will more than reward your patience.    Location 11

Bellagio

3600 Las Vegas Blvd. S., Las Vegas

Whether you choose it for breakfast, brunch/lunch or dinner, it stands out for top quality food, selection and preparation. If you especially want a buffet for dinner instead of the "sit-down" restaurants I've rated throughout this site, then the Bellagio buffet deserves your consideration. You'll find their offerings first class.    Location 10

Wynn

3131 Las Vegas Blvd. S., Las Vegas

"Elegant" is the only way to describe the food presentation here. Besides the main food serving area, the floorplan incorporates additional smaller areas which are offshoots from it. The overall effect is to create a more luxurious, almost intimate, setting which lessens the somewhat expected institutional layout of buffets in general. The food is delicious, and you won't be disappointed with the selection.

Cosmopolitan

3708 Las Vegas Blvd. S., Las Vegas

Las Vegas made buffets famous, and in the early days they often resembled glorified cafeterias.  Over the decades, these icons of our hotels have evolved into sophisticated, and even elegant, surroundings.  But no matter how glamorous the decor, the food normally is presented to the public, either heated or chilled, in bulk containers whose contents must be transferred to the diners' plates with scoops, spoons, tongs or spatulas.  After all these decades, the creation of a new and unique concept is somewhat amazing, but that's exactly what this buffet has accomplished.

Since its December 15, 2010 opening, the Cosmopolitan has chosen to present most of its food in individually-sized bowls, plates, ramekins and even small cast iron skillets that rest on large hot or cold surfaces.  As diners make their selections, new dishes are constantly prepared and placed on the serving areas.  Management feels this is the key to maximizing freshness and appearance.  The buffet offers a number of unusual and delicious dishes not seen elsewhere.  You won't be disappointed in the quality or presentation of their abundant choices.

Note:  In the aftermath of COVID-19, some buffets may not be open for all meals.  This is a fluid situation, so you should check with the buffet before going there.
