Many of Las Vegas's best restaurants are located on, or near, the Resort Corridor (commonly called The Strip), and their names are among those listed below.

Please make note of a restaurant's
Location Number and then click on this MAP LINK to view the Strip/Near Strip Map and match any restaurant having a number to its location on the map.

However, if you're reading a restaurant's write-up and it doesn't show a
Location Number, that means it's located elsewhere in the area.  I've provided street addresses for all restaurants so you easily can determine driving directions on your car's navigation system or with Google, MapQuest or Waze apps on your phone or tablet.

BEST ASIAN RESTAURANTS IN LAS VEGAS

Las Vegas has many Asian residents and tourists.   Our "Chinatown" area, located a short distance west of the Strip, is where numerous Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Thai, Vietnamese and Taiwanese restaurants are concentrated.  Others are located on the Strip or nearby.  Among all of them, though, the following recommendations represent the Best Asian Cuisine in Las Vegas.

Wing Lei - Wynn
3131 Las Vegas Blvd. S., Las Vegas

As beautiful a Chinese restaurant as you're likely to encounter anywhere, with outstanding food and service that compliment the visual splendor. The menu provides a blend of Cantonese, Shanghai and Szechuan cuisines. Emphasis is on quality and unusual selections seldom found on most Chinese menus. The breadth and uniqueness of choices will satisfy the true lover of Chinese cuisine. Really exceptional food is an understatement.

Musashi Japanese Steak House
3900 Paradise Rd., Las Vegas

For a truly unique dining experience, teppanyaki style cooking is greatly enjoyed by many. A well-known national chain popularized cooking with a theatrical presentation on a flat-top teppan grill, but a trip to Musashi takes it to a higher level. It's an attractive, relatively small restaurant that fills up quickly most evenings. The quality of the food here, along with the accompanying homemade sauces, is what earns it a nod over the "name" competition. Definitely worth a visit.

Kabuto

5040 W. Spring Mountain Rd., #4

This shrine to true artisan edomae (literally, In front of Tokyo") sushi, is located in the Tokyo Plaza Center just doors away from Raku, also listed on this page.  In 2012, the year Kabuto opened, it was one of 50 restaurants nominated to be on the list of Bon Appetit's top 10 new restaurants in the US.  The same year, Travel and Leisure magazine ranked the restaurant among the 32 best sushi restaurants in the U.S.

Their fish is imported daily from Japan's Toyosu and Fukuoka fish markets and other far-flung locations, and the restaurant's selections change daily based on quality and seasonality.  They offer three price levels of Omakase (chef's choice) tasting menus along with individual sashimi and nigiri plates.

Reservations for the 22-seat restaurant definitely are recommended and are accepted up to one month in advance.  Call early and ask for the sushi bar seating if you want the best seats in the house.
